Fast Footwork Junior

DTS’ most popular technical training class is now open to experienced boys & girls ages 5-6 years old!

This class will teach your player proper dribbling techniques, how to be in control over the ball at all times & awareness! This class will improve players touches on the ball, confidence and will instruct new skills and moves to pass and beat the defender. This class will also introduce players to 1 versus 1 situations!

Curricula Focus:
-Small & concise touches while dribbling
-Change of Direction/Feints
-Back, Side & Passing Moves
-Body Fakes, Scissors, Step Over
-Passing/Receiving
-Ball Sensibility

Pre-Requests to Participate:

Your player is 5-6 years old and has successfully completed all benchmarks in the Junior Academy class OR you received a recommendation from a DTS Coach.

Benchmarks to Advance:

• The player has good dribbling technique & knows all of the “moves/skills” instructed in the Junior Academy class and can replicate them during drills.
• The player can pass the ball accurately and receive the ball
• Player is actively involved in all games/scrimmages
• Player engages in (is not afraid of) 1 versus 1 situations
