Notice of Temporary, Full-time Recreational Program Instructor, Soccer Job Openings

Recreational program instructor, soccer. 4 temporary, full time positions available:  10/01/2024 – 07/31/2025.  Conduct recreation activities with individual children and groups of children in the 3 to 14 year old age range at recreation facilities such as outdoor or indoor fields or recreation complexes.  Activities are soccer games and programs, including recreational guided soccer games, and are aimed at building social and gross motor development in children participants.  Activities are geared to the needs and interests of the participants.  Dutch Total Soccer, LLC, d/b/a DTS, LLC, will offer a wage of $19.30-$22.30/hour based on experience and performance.  Full time, 35 hours/week, typical schedule: Tu, Wed, Fri 4:30 pm – 9 pm, Thurs 11 am – 12 noon & 4:30 pm – 9 pm, Sat 10 am – 6 pm, Sun 10 am – 6 pm (exact scheduling may shift occasionally).  No OT, no on-job training avail.  Travel to and work at soccer fields and facilities in Somerset & Union Counties, NJ. Requires 12 months experience in soccer recreation instruction for ages 10 or under.  The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law.  Also, if employee so chooses, employer arranges and provides housing, cable, utilities and phone at a charge to the employee, to be deducted from the employee’s paycheck, at the rate of $800.00/month; and if employee so chooses, employer provides car use at a charge to the employee, to be deducted from the employee’s paycheck, at the rate of $225.00/month, which covers car use, auto insurance and maintenance.  Employees are reimbursed for work-related gas mileage costs.  Workers are encouraged to obtain a drivers license valid for driving to worksites, however drivers license is not a requirement for the position because coaches who do not obtain such a license can make carpool arrangements with drivers-licensed existing DTS staff to get to work sites, splitting car costs proportionately.  The employer will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. Employer pays for worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work by purchasing their inbound transportation ticket (e.g., air fare) at season start and reimbursing subsistence up to maximum of $59.00 per day within 2 weeks of worker arrival at season start. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
