Small Group Tactics

DTS is offering a NEW Elite class this Winter season with a special curricula developed by DTS & NJ Premier Director of Coaching, Jordi Meijer.

The Small Group Tactics class will emphasis decision making & communication in situations with up to 4 teammates and/or opponents. Players will be encouraged to create solutions to problems presented on the pitch with their technical abilities & tactical understanding of each
situation that arises!

The curriculum will feature more situational gameplay over technical training. High level technical skills is a pre-requisite to join this session; players must first have an understanding of tactical skills in order to apply them in tactical situations.

Registration for this  program is NOT available online. There are ONLY two ways to join:
1) Invitation from the DTS elite program director (dtselitetraining@soccercenters.com).
2) By attending a “player showcase” in which a player’s skill level is assessed.

The cost to try-out for an elite class is $20 per player. Players accepted into an elite class will have their $20 try-out fee subtracted from the total class price.  For those players not accepted into the elite program, the $20 registration fee can be applied to any other class (Summer 2023 ONLY) but no refunds will be issued.
